The Making of a Healer: Teachings of My Oneida Grandmother (video)
We will begin this monthly series
watching and discussing a video presentation by Russell FourEagles. He studied
medicine with his Oneida Grandmother who had been trained from the accumulated
wisdom of 200 healers in their shared lineage. He finished his healing
apprenticeship when he was twenty five. Russellís life bridges the traditions
of his ancestors with the realities of modern times in a fascinating story of
conflict, sacrifice, insight, and inspiration.
